Today I am in Berlin with Knut Blind’s institute at the TU Berlin. At the research seminar I present one of my current research efforts together with Ammon Salter and Keld Laursen. In the paper we try a replication of the original paper of Keld and Ammon in SMJ in 2006:
Laursen, K., & Salter, A. (2006). Open for innovation: the role of openness in explaining innovation performance among U.K. manufacturing firms. Strategic Management Journal, 27(2), 131–150. doi:10.1002/smj.507.
We use a Bayesian Averaging of Classical Estimators (BACE) approach to investigate how the original findings in the 2006 paper depend on the selection of the regression models.
Stay tuned for more about the findings!
